Aaron Smith is a professor and the Daniel B. DeLoach Chair of Agricultural Economics. His ongoing research addresses policy, trading, and price dynamics using large data sets in agricultural and energy markets. Recent project topics include using remote sensing data to model agricultural land use decisions and the resulting environmental implications.
